It was a fair and brilliant day,
The Sun was shining bright,
I was sitting in my chair,
And there she caught my sight.

She had a delightful little smile,
As she flew in with a flair,
Her eyes were bright, with a shining light,
And she had rapunzelistic hair.

My heart leapt, as she passed me by,
The beast left me nothing to spare,
I grabbed at it, as it left my soul,
But it flew high up, into the air.

I dreamt a reverie,
And then dreamt some more,
I dreamt of love,
And of abhor.

There’s so much to say,
But the words have my case denied,
So I base it on her smile,
And let the gods of fate decide.

When she smiles,
My heart goes for a run,
Only the smile remains,
It even blots out the sun.

When she smiles,
The world gets trapped between her lips,
No words need to be spoken,
Everything is in eclipse…
